2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of sound mind.
For God has not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of sound mind.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them who love him. But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

The Spirit brings into understanding, knowledge and Revelation the secret things of God. He is a ply qualified to reveal God because He is God and a member of the Godhead.
As I share on this subject, it is my prayer that we will be armed with God’s word even in this troubling season, and that at the end of the day, our Faith will not fail. Jesus asked, ...”when the son of man comes, will he find faith on earth.”
Fear is a disposition of the mind, which is full of anxiety in seasons of uncertainty.
When we are not sure of what direction to take, when situations are getting out of hand, it is natural for the carnal mind to let go of what he can’t control and let fate determine the end.
When we are not sure of what direction to take, when situations are getting out of hand, it is natural for the carnal mind to let go of what he can’t control and let fate determine the end.
But as children of God, the righteousness of God, He has called us and instructed us to live by Faith. It is impossible to please God without Faith.
Seasons of uncertainty need a Faith Approach. Faith counters fear. We are not to fear in whatever circumstance.
As believers living among a perverse generation and a lost world, we ought to demonstrate a difference and distinction between us who believe and those who don’t. It is our Faith, when it comes to play in times of uncertainty, that makes the difference. What threatens others, we have confidence to face it.
Boldness in intimidating environments can only be a result of the Holy Spirit working in us.

Apostle Peter preaches and 3000 are added to the church in a single sermon, yet he had previously denied Jesus. He had been filled. When we are filled, change is bound to happen.
Saul is filled, and changed to Paul, after an encounter with Christ.

The scriptures above denote something of great concern in a believers walk with God. That there are times of inflicting fear that will come, but the Bible says the Spirit we received was not to take us back to bondage in fear, but has set us free.
Fear takes us captive and we can’t function as we ought. But upon understanding the liberty we have received by the Son and the Spirit, we rise up in the midst of the storm, knowing that He that calms the storm is in the boat with us.
We do not need to see with our physical eyes, we need to believe in our hearts.
The Holy Spirit was given as a counsellor, in times of mourning. The world is as at now in a grievous moment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We however, understand that there’s in nothing to fear, for we are covered, round about. A fire goes before God and consumes all his enemies all around. No harm will come near us. But fear gives the devil a foothold.
The sons of Jesse fled from Goliath for all the days they were in the battle ground, but a young shepherd boy from the grass fields comes with boldness and confidence in the name of Jesus, and by faith brings down the great Philistine giant.
Arise brother. Arise sister. Take up the whole armour of God and face the enemy, for the battle is already worn. We have the victory.
In a season when the church is being tested, whether we can still stand when the foundations seem to be shaken, we ought to understand that we are founded on Christ. No other foundation that any man can lay apart from that which is already laid. We are immovable. We shouldn’t be troubled. Faith says, it will be well. It doesn’t look like it, but there’s an assurance from within, that things will finally work out.
1 Peter 1:6-9
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

That is the beauty of our Faith. By Faith we are safe. Let us therefore hold on to the Faith we confess, amidst all other practices, Faith ought to take the lead.
